Here is the write up of my exhibition, Starkers, which was held at the Museum of Sydney during 2006/2007. Curated by Inara Walden (who wrote the article above), the exhibition was warmly received and I have fond memories of this period.

Juxtaposing my 1989 photograph taken in Glebe with a 2024 grab from Manly. 

I recently headed back to Glebe to try and remember where I took the shot of the white moggy. Having wandered up and down any number of laneways I finally located the spot which is today, over grown with trees. The terraces remain and yet the stark modernist view of 1989 is well hidden. Needless to say - the cat has moved on. 

The Manly scene appealed to me as the lanky canine could well have been modelling one of the 1930s bathing suits highlighted in the background.  

The corner of Norton St & Broughton Lane, Glebe as it appeared late last year.

Update on Issue #2

Following the unprecedented reaction to the inaugural edition of Sydney Street Magazine, issue two will be brought forward a few months. Enthusiasm is high as new street photography continues to be produced, while more of my old stuff is being digitised. 

Issue Two is scheduled to drop during early August 👍
